New Year’s Resolution: bulk up those little gray cells with free online university lectures
January 1st, 2008
Click here for a WIRED article on the so-called “massificaton of higher education” resulting from the “OpenCourseWare” movement–making university lectures freely available for download from university websites, iTunes and even YouTube.
For my money, this sort of thing, like opensource software, is one of the very best developments of the digital revolution. So if broadening your horizons and bulking up your gray matter is one of your New Year’s resolutions, as it is mine, this is definitely something to look into!
And if anyone finds a course anywhere on Catholic literature, please please please contact me.
